19 Oct Émely Steegstra-Hendrix – Senatorship

Émely Steegstra-Hendrix is the mother of JCI Central Switzerland and well-known in JCI. Everywhere we go, she already has friends there. It’s easy to see why: She is a thoroughly positive presence and quickly takes people in with her warm, intelligent, and inspiring manner. She has taken on new challenges at every opportunity, among these co-founding and growing the first international LOM in Switzerland, setting up the Swiss Leadership Academy, supporting both local and national Boards here and abroad with hands-on help, assisting with the awards jury, and at the same time still helping JCI Eemland in the Netherlands. While doing all that, she still always had time to mentor and encourage members, share her passion for JCI, and explore everything JCI has to offer. Émely truly exemplifies JCI values. She “just does it”.
We were excited that we managed to surprise her at Restaurant Im Hof in Zug and make her a Senator in an international setting, with our friends from JCI Slagelse (Denmark) joining by video conference.
